TEL AVIV, ISRAEL - I forgot already why. Maybe I should find the answer soon.
Spent most of today sleeping off the jet lag, walking in the early evening in Rothschild Blvd with my friend and host for the time being, Adam, and wondering about the question that is the subject of this post.
I've also been spending a good chunk of time in Cambridge, in the airport, on the plane, etc. reading Louis Menand's historical opus The Metaphysical Club and have been finding it a riveting read to say the least.

Israel-bound.
CAMBRIDGE, MA – I fly off to Tel Aviv for two months and Cairo for a month (and maybe Amman and Istanbul) after that this evening. Will have pictures and stories here.
It's my well-deserved break after a frantic first year of my program and probably the last one as well as I try not to stay too long in school. Looking at it from either perspective means that this is going to be fun and interesting. Fingers crossed.
