A summer adventure

I am probably getting ahead of myself. After all, there is still more than two weeks before I leave for my summer travels. This time, it’s going to be Morocco, and in particular, the medieval city of Fez. I say this anyway because thinking about it gets me through grading papers and final exams these days. Not that I am excited about it. Not yet at least. I do know it is going to be extra special simply because I figure it is the last adventure (in the real sense of the term) I will have before real life begins. By real life, I mean, a real job, and who knows, maybe even a family. For now, I can get by with my graduate student stipend, but at some point, I should stop and earn something beyond subsistence. Until then, I will relish every single moment I have.

Here is a map of Morocco. In addition to Fez, I am hoping I can go around other cities such as Casablanca, Rabat, Tangiers and Marrakesh.

In any case, I still have a couple of stuff to do before my flight on the 26th, such as a draft chapter to finish, a Broadway play to watch, and grades to submit.
